This Is Not a Government Office or Records Custodian. We operate a private reference site. We cannot pull records, certify copies, confirm who lives at an address, or remove anyone from a roll or database. Those requests go to the office that holds the record. For emergencies, dial 911. If you believe you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.
Route a Records Question
Direct each Downers Grove question to the office responsible for that kind of record:
- Ownership along a street: use the Downers Grove street directory
- Old volumes and former households: use the Downers Grove city directory collections
- Checking one name: follow the Downers Grove resident lookup process
- Record keepers: review the Downers Grove records offices
- Files that are not online: submit a focused request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, to the actual custodian
